Motorcycle Safety Toolkit

The New York Departmetn of Health, Bureau of Injury Prevention has announced availability of the Motorcycle Safety Toolkit. The toolkit includes: a motorcycle injury-related data factsheet; a sample news release; ideas for promoting motorcycle safety in communities; fact sheets for motorcycle riders, parents of teen motorcycle riders and other motorists; and information about motorcycle rider education, motorcycle helmets, and licensing in NYS, as well as publications and additional sources of information. The toolkit can be accessed on the NYSDOH website .

The toolkit materials will assist local health and traffic safety partners in their injury prevention programming and educate the public about motorcycle safety education, licensing and safety practices.
