The New York State Traumatic Brain Injury Coordinating Council (TBISCC), which I am honored to chair, will hold its next meeting on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the offices of the New York State Department of Health located at 161 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, New York.  The meeting is open to all members of the public.

The agenda for this meeting includes an update from Health Department representatives on the Waiver Program; an update on the federal TBI grant; discussion of the New York State best practices conference and an important discussion on the establishment of a traumatic brain injury trust fund in the State of New York.

The meeting includes a public forum to allow public comments on any aspect of traumatic brain injury services within New York State.

The TBISCC is a council created by the New York State legislature to advise and make proposals to the Commissioner of Health on Traumatic Brain Injury services within New York State.
