Long Island Brain Injury Program

The Brain Injury Association of New York State in cooperation with North Shore University Hospital and the Transitions of Long Island is sponsoring an all day program entitled, "Living With Brain Injury: New Developments in Technology and Treatment"  The brain injury program is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM at Rust Auditorium, North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York.

The program will feature prominent medical experts in the field of traumatic brain injury and cover topics including technological advances in brain injury rehabilitation; new medications for emotional and cognitive challenges following a brain injury, advances in occupational therapy and physical therapy following a brain injury as well as web based tolls for brain injury survivors and caregivers.
