Brain Injury Caregiver Support Conference
The Brain Injury Association of New York State in cooperation with Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation is sponsoring a one day program for Individuals with traumatic brain injury and their caregivers to explore supports and resources. The topics scheduled to be discussed include: rebuilding relationships following brain damage including social networking and recreation; community reentry programs following a traumatic brain injury and a session devoted to sharing strategies for caregivers of those who have sustained a brain injury.
The conference is scheduled for November 22, 2008 to be held at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, 301 E. 17th street, New York, New York. You must register in advance to attend this conference. Further information can be obtained at the Brain Injury Association of New York State web site.
