Concussions in Sports

With the start of the school year, it is important for all parents, coaches and student athletes to be reminded about the signs and symptoms of concussions and the need to take proper precautions if a concussion takes place.

The Centers for Disease Control has an excellent web site on concussions in sports where you can obtain detailed information about concussions, frequent complaints following a concussion and important guidelines on concussion management and return to play decisions.
