Kentucky Brain Injury Association Donates Gifts to Brain Injured Troops

Many thanks to the Brain Injury Association of Kentucky for their holiday donations to returning troops suffering from traumatic brain injuries.

The Brain Injury Association of Kentucky has donated about $4,000 worth of holiday gifts for wounded soldiers and their families to use at the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell.

The organization gave the hospital a television with a combination DVD/VHS unit, a computer with Internet access and a printer, according to a release from the organization.

The items, which are now installed in the resource room at the hospital, are to be used to help wounded soldiers and their families learn about brain injury, how to cope with its effects, and what resources will be available to them after they are discharged from the hospital.
