Let's Not Forget The Signature Wound in the Iraq War This Veteran's Day

On this Veteran's Day, let us not forget that brain injury is the signature wound of the Iraq conflict.

Our soldiers deserve more then what they are getting from this administration when they sustain a traumatic brain injury.  Our President must properly fund traumatic brain injury research and rehabilitation.

The Pentagon is refusing to screen all troops returning from Iraq to determine if they sustained a mild traumatic brain injury.  Given the frequency of this injury and the life long consequences, this is simply not acceptable. It is not acceptable to refuse to provide needed funding to the defense veterans traumatic brain injury institute and provide proper funding for the TBI Act.

Let your Congressional representative and Senator on this Veteran's Day know how you feel on this important issue.

Finally, god bless our troops and thank you for your sacrifices.
