Woodruff recovery continues

I am pleased to share information from ABC News that reporter, Bob Woodruff was discharged from the brain injury rehabilitation program at the National Navel Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland today and will continue his recovery in a yet unnamed brain injury rehabilitation center in New York.

According to the release, although Woodruff his now able to communicate with his family, he still requires many months of further "recuperation" first as an inpatient and probably on an out patient basis as well.

Woodruff and his family understandably are requesting that their privacy be respected.  Hopefully, as his recovery continues, they will share their experiences concerning the long and frustrating journey of brain injury recovery and rehabilitation with the American public who needs to know more about this silent epidemic.
