New York State Traumatic Brain Injury Services Council Meeting

The next public meeting of the New York State Traumatic Brain Injury Services Coordinating Council, the advisory committee to the Commissioner of Health of New York State regarding services to victims of brain and head injury is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. in the Main Conference Room, New York State Department of Health, Division of Home and Community Based Care, 161 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, New York.

The agenda for this meeting is:

  • Introduction of David Wollener, Director of the Office of Health Systems Management
  • TBI Waiver Program Update by the Office of Medicaid Management
  • Guest Presentation on Project LEARN, by the Brain Injury Association of New York State
  • Discussion on letter to service providers and others on insurance issues concerning the unmet needs of persons with traumatic brain injury
  • New Business

As an appointed member of this council, I welcome service providers, family members and those who have personally experienced a brain injury to our meetings to work together on the important issues facing the delivery of services to those with a traumatic brain injury.
