United States Human Brain Project
Did you know that the United States of America has a long term research project known at the Human Brain Project that was started ten years ago and whose purpose it to encourage and support research that will lead to new digital tools to assess the functioning of the human brain?
The project so far has led to the development of the fMRI Date Center (fMRIDC) which provides computerized analysis of neuroimages for a neuropsychiatric data base. Here is the link to the full National Institute of Health grant information package on the Human Brain Project. Thanks to Jack Lynch at Brain Waves for this information.
