Substance Abuse and Traumatic Brain Injury

The September/October issue of Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation has been released.  The issue is devoted to topics covering substance abuse and traumatic brain injury. Topics include outcomes associated with intoxication, binge drinking and co-occurring disorders, as well 3 articles based on clinical trials of Screening and Brief Intervention (SBI). Civilian, active duty military and veterans populations are studied.

Overindulgence or independence on an addiction substances make people sick and they become addictive of taking those drugs. Drug addiction is really dangerous for brain. It destroys your brains cells and you have reached at the level of mental illness where your mind has not in your control.
