Tips on Reading for Parents

Yesterday I posted information on learning disabilities and ADHD.  Today, I want to provide some useful information on readiing and adolescent literacy.

WETA, based in Washington DC also has produced two terrific web sites chock full of useful information and tips for parents on these important issues.

The first site, Reading Tips for Parents of Preschoolers provides useful tips on promoting reading and fun ideas for your child to become a happy and confident reader.

The second site, is a comprehensive website resource for parents and educators containing important information on adolescent literacy for children in grades 4 - 12.
