Using the Arts to Promote Brain Injury Rehabilitation

Art therapy has been shown to be a powerful tool in brain injury rehabilitation.  A conference designed to explore this exciting form of therapy has been planned by the Brain Injury Association of New York State (BIANYS). 

The conference is scheduled for November 3, 2009 in New York City.  Presenters will include individuals with brain injury who have experienced life-changing results through expressive therapies as well as professional art therapists.  More information can be obtained by going to the Brain Injury Association of New York State web site: BIANYS.
