Heavy Weight Boxer Is Now Suing Boxing Commission!

Following a decisioBoxing_glove_3n by the Nevada Boxing Commission denying heavy weight fighter, Joe Meisi, a license to fight because of a brain injury, his lawyers are now suing the boxing commission.  The boxer suffered a subdural hematoma (brain bleed) which were discovered on a brain scan.  (read my earlier post of June 22 for further information on this story)  The Nevada Boxing Commission stated that subdural hematomas a re the leading cause of death in boxers.  They have enacted a rule which denies a boxing license to any fighter who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.  [SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD RULE TO ME.]   Read the full story by clicking here .
