Woman Wakes After 20 Years in Coma

Following my post of last week concerning new evidence that people in a coma or persistent vegatative state are aware of their surroundings and do experience conscious pain and suffering, lawyers who handle brain injury cases are again reminded that a person in a coma or persistent vegatative state may in fact recover.  Life care plans developed by lawyers handling traumatic brain injury cases for individuals in these conditions must anticiapte a full life expectancy and make appropriate contingency allotments for this recovery.
